Life at School

We try to inspire a love of learning in our girls and a desire to succeed. We maintain high expectations for each of our students, so that every pupil is able to fulfil their potential. We strive to equip our students with the knowledge, skills and values which will serve them best throughout their life in this world and in the hereafter.

We want pupils to feel comfortable with each other and around teachers so that they are able to act on their intellectual curiosity and become resilient. There is a great emphasis on good and righteous character; we expect a high standard of good conduct and we believe in a firm but fair approach and helping students learn from their mistakes.

A strong sense of family and community nurtures a spirit of kindness, helpfulness and responsibility. Extra-curricular opportunities facilitate pupil’s personal development as well as exploring their own interests and working together as a team.

We want our pupils to develop their relationship with their faith, and recognise that faith and religion is not separate from our daily lives. Rather, that our faith enriches us, making us more balanced and morally upright people and motivates us to develop our personal qualities so that we can make a positive change in our community.

Sayyida Aishah (May Allah Almighty be pleased with her) narrates: I heard from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): “There is no doubt that a believer, with his beautiful character, achieves the same status as the one who fasts during the day and stands in prayer at night”.
